Hello! I am Dominik Frąckowiak, a web developer based in Madrid, Spain, currently working as a frontend developer at Awakelab.

The technologies I work with include: JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Astro.js, SASS/SCSS, Tailwind, Git, Wordpress, Prisma, Firebase, Figma, BEM. I am currently expanding my knowledge in Node.js/Express.js and Mongodb/Mongoose.

I am a native Polish speaker, certified B2 in English and C2 in Spanish.

I am interested in social issues and politics. I am a vegetarian and an animal lover (I share my life with two Andalusian Bodeguero dogs: Yoko & Sugus <3).
I am a cyclist and a nature enthusiast. I enjoy traveling outside the city and spending nights surrounded by nature in my small van.

I am musically polyamorous :), my list of favorite musicians is very long and includes: Swans, Sonic Youth, Armia, Crass, Neurosis, Killing Joke, The Cure, New Model Army, Izrael, Vangelis, Depeche Mode, Massive Attack, Godflesh, Discharge, David Bowie, Brian Eno, Brygada Kryzys, Portishead, Black Uhuru, Tricky, Public Image Limited, Conflict, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Chumbawamba, Siekiera, Cocteau Twins, Joy Division, Fugazi, Bad Brains, and many, many others.

I enjoy cinema (Buñuel, Wajda, Visconti, Fellini, Pasolini, the Coen brothers, Lynch, etc. etc.), I like to read (mainly non-fiction) and, of course, I enjoy watching TV series ('House of Cards', 'Succession', 'Fargo', 'The Sopranos', 'Twin Peaks', etc. etc.).
